Affiliate Terms & Policy

1Program overview

The Sandbox Prep Affiliate Program lets you earn commission by referring customers to Sandbox Prep's interview-preparation products (including MMI and Casper prep). When someone you refer buys an eligible plan using your unique promo code or referral link, you earn a commission and your audience gets a discount.

You take part as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment, agency, or franchise relationship, and you cannot bind Sandbox or represent that you can. Participation is non-exclusive — you may promote other products, and we may work with any number of other affiliates and channels.

2Joining & eligibility

• Apply and get approved. You complete our application and are approved by Sandbox before you can start promoting.
• Age & capacity. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, able to enter a binding contract, and legally permitted to receive payments from us.
• Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, your channels, your audience, and your promotional methods, and to keep it up to date.

You accept these terms electronically when you apply or participate. Electronic acceptance — including click-through acceptance and e-signatures captured through our onboarding — is valid, binding, and satisfies any requirement that the agreement be signed in writing.

3Approval & your account

Acceptance into the Program is at our discretion and depends on our ongoing satisfaction with your channels, methods, and compliance. We may approve or reject any application, require changes to your content, pause tracking, or remove you from the Program in line with these terms. On request, you will give us accurate details about your websites, domains, social handles, traffic sources, and paid-media practices.

Your onboarding walks you through a few quick steps — welcome, program details, agreement, payout setup, and creating your promo code. Your dashboard then shows your codes, referral links, attributed sales, earnings, and payout history.

4Identity verification & anti-fraud

To protect the Program from fraud, we may, at our discretion and as a condition of approval, payout, or continued participation, ask you to verify your identity — including by providing a government-issued photo ID and other reasonable information — and we may use trusted third-party providers to run identity, sanctions, and anti-fraud checks.

If we ask, you confirm the identification you provide is genuine, current, belongs to you, and is accurate. We may decline, suspend, withhold payment to, or terminate any affiliate who fails to verify or who we reasonably believe has provided false information. Any identity information is handled under our Privacy Policy, with reasonable safeguards and retention limited to what is necessary.

5Your promo code & links

Once approved, you receive a unique promo code and a referral link. Your single code works across every eligible product and plan tier in your terms — customers enter it at checkout, and your referral link pre-fills it for them. Your code and links are personal to you; you may not sell, share, or transfer them, or use them to purchase for yourself.

6Promoting Sandbox

Whenever you promote us, you agree to:

• Disclose your relationship with Sandbox clearly and conspicuously wherever required by law and platform rules.
• Keep everything truthful, accurate, and not misleading, with a reasonable basis for any factual claim before you publish it.
• Publish only genuine opinions and testimonials — no fake or deceptively incentivized reviews.
• Follow our brand guidelines, program policies, and all applicable advertising, consumer-protection, privacy, and anti-spam laws.
• Honor unsubscribe, opt-out, and do-not-contact requests promptly.

7What you may not do

Unless we authorize it in writing, you must not:

• Bid on, buy, or target "Sandbox," confusingly similar terms, or misspellings in paid search;
• Run paid ads whose display URL looks like a Sandbox domain, or point paid ads directly at our site;
• Use coupon, cash-back, rebate, loyalty, giveaway, or incentive schemes tied to Sandbox purchases except as permitted;
• Use pop-ups, forced clicks, stacked redirects, cookie stuffing, ad injection, bots, or hidden links;
• Purchase Sandbox products through your own code or link (self-referral);
• Submit users from purchased lists, scraped data, spam, or automated traffic;
• Claim to be "Sandbox," an official partner, or an authorized reseller unless separately approved; or
• Modify approved discount codes or stack discounts except as permitted.

We may require you to remove or change any content, and may suspend your participation, tracking, or payments while we investigate conduct that creates legal, reputational, or fraud risk.

8Tracking & attribution

Referrals are attributed primarily by your promo code: when a customer enters your code at checkout, the sale is tied to you deterministically.

Our records are controlling, absent obvious error. A referral will not qualify if it cannot be reliably attributed, and we may reject, reverse, or reassign attribution for fraud, duplicate or existing-customer accounts, self-referrals, chargebacks, refunds, failed payments, or any breach of these terms. You must not tamper with codes, links, cookies, consent flows, or attribution logic.

9Commissions, discounts & bonuses

For each qualifying sale you earn a commission on the Net Revenue Sandbox actually collects, and your customer receives a discount on eligible plans. The commission rate, customer discount, and any bonuses that apply to you are set out in your affiliate agreement. "Net Revenue" means what Sandbox actually receives from a qualifying customer, excluding taxes, processing fees, refunds, credits, chargebacks, bad debt, and fraudulent transactions.

• Your commission is calculated on the discounted price the customer actually pays.
• You earn commission on a customer's first purchase. Where a plan renews automatically, commission applies to that initial purchase only, not to later renewals.
• No commission is owed on taxes, refunds, chargebacks, reversals, fraud, or internal/test accounts, and we may offset prior overpayments against future payouts.

Referral bonus

Where your terms include a bonus, you earn an additional bonus for qualifying new users you refer during each quarter, as set out in your affiliate agreement. Any bonus count resets each quarter, with no carryover of partial counts.

10Commission eligibility & cooldown

So we only pay on fully fulfilled subscriptions, a commission becomes eligible for payout only after the subscription term completes, plus a short cooldown period set out in your affiliate agreement. If a subscription is refunded, charged back, cancelled, or found fraudulent before the cooldown ends, the commission never becomes payable — this protects both of us from refund and fraud loss.

11Getting paid

We process affiliate payouts at the end of each calendar month. On each payout date, we pay all undisputed commissions that have cleared the cooldown and are otherwise eligible as of that date; anything not yet cleared rolls to the next monthly payout.

• We may hold payment until your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold set out in your affiliate agreement, or during a reasonable fraud, tax, chargeback, or compliance review.
• You set your payout method during onboarding (for example, PayPal or bank transfer) and are responsible for keeping it accurate.
• You are responsible for any bank fees, currency-conversion charges, and similar costs on your side of a payment.
• Review each statement promptly; if you do not raise a good-faith dispute within the period set out in your affiliate agreement, the statement is treated as accepted (absent obvious error or fraud).

12Taxes

You are solely responsible for all taxes on the amounts we pay you, except taxes on Sandbox's own income. As a condition of payment, you agree to provide the tax documentation we reasonably request for your jurisdiction, and we may withhold amounts required by law and issue tax-reporting forms as required. If you do not provide valid documentation, we may pause payment until it is resolved.

13Brand & intellectual property

While you are in the Program, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our approved names, logos, and marketing materials solely to promote Sandbox, in line with our brand guidelines. You may not alter our marks, create confusingly similar names, domains, or handles, or register anything that could be mistaken for us. All goodwill from your use of our brand belongs to Sandbox, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted. You keep ownership of your own content and grant us a limited license to identify you as a participant (unless you opt out in writing).

14Data & privacy

Each of us complies with applicable privacy and data-protection laws. Generally, each party is an independent controller of the personal data it collects for its own purposes. You agree not to send us end-user personal data or lead lists unless we authorize it in writing, to use only approved tracking methods, to obtain and maintain any required consents on your properties, and never to disable or falsify consent or privacy signals. If we ever ask you to process personal data on our behalf, we will put a data-processing agreement in place first. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including any identity information collected for verification.

15Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information (including business plans, pricing, commissions, and customer or lead data), use it only as needed for the Program, and not disclose it except to people who need to know and are bound to keep it confidential, or as required by law. These obligations continue after the Program ends, for the period set out in your affiliate agreement, and longer for trade secrets.

16Term, suspension & termination

You may leave the Program at any time on prior written notice. We may terminate at any time, with or without cause, on notice. Either party may terminate immediately for fraud, insolvency, or where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate immediately — and pause tracking and payments — if we reasonably believe you have engaged in prohibited content, disclosure failures, fake reviews, fraud, chargeback abuse, bot traffic, unauthorized discounting, brand misuse, or anything likely to harm Sandbox. When the Program ends, your licenses and tracking stop, and we pay only valid, accrued, undisputed commissions and earned bonuses for eligible referrals accepted on or before the end date, subject to the cooldown, reversals, offsets, and tax rules. For termination tied to fraud or serious breach, we may forfeit unpaid commissions to the extent the law allows.

17Changes to the program

We may update the Program, these terms, or the commercial schedule from time to time. Any material change that adversely affects your economics or core obligations — such as commission rate, discount, bonus, attribution, or payment timing — takes effect after we give you advance notice, and applies only going forward. If you do not agree, your remedy is to leave the Program before it takes effect; continuing to participate means you accept it. Minor administrative or legally required changes may take effect immediately on notice.

18Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Program, tracking tools, and materials are provided "as is," and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, and Sandbox's total liability under these terms will not exceed the commissions paid or payable to you in the period before the event giving rise to the claim set out in your affiliate agreement. You agree to indemnify Sandbox against third-party claims arising from your content, your breach of these terms or the law, your promotional practices, or your infringement of others' rights. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
