Casper

Required (French only)

Also required

French proficiency: applicants whose primary and secondary schooling was not in French must pass the TCF-TP with at least 400/699 on the compulsory tests and at least 14/20 on written expression, taken within the last 2 years, uploaded by March 11; CEGEP students who take the Épreuve uniforme de français are exempt · Labour-market university category: autobiographical note in French, due November 11 · Research-doctorate category: research file (CV and motivation letter in French, thesis-deposit letter, 2 recommendation letters), due November 11 · Envol category: financial documents due March 11, 2027 · PNIQ: online individual interview plus McGill MEM · Proof of New Brunswick residence and Université de Moncton recommendation (NB category)

How selection works

(1) Casper (in French); (2) academic-record analysis against the category's minimum CRC/CRU, only if Casper is satisfactory relative to MEM places; (2b) intermediate step for Envol (financial assessment), labour-market (autobiographical note) and PhD (research file) categories; (3) MEM; (4) final selection based exclusively on the MEM result, with Casper as tie-breaker. Some MEM places are reserved for regular Quebec candidates with Lévis (minimum 60) or Rimouski (minimum 48) as first choice, up to 50% of those for 'boni région' candidates. IMG category: Casper 30% + MCCQE Part I 70% for MEM invitation. PNIQ: individual interview 50% + McGill MEM 50%.
