Where official sources disagree

  • classSize: UdeM's program page gives a regular contingent of 396 for 2026 admission; AFMC 2027 reports 403 new first-year admissions (390 Quebec residents: 135 MD year 1 + 255 preparatory year; 3 New Brunswick; 3 First Nations/Indigenous; 2 international). Value uses 396.
  • pools.qc-regular.seats: Quebec regular contingent: 396 (UdeM, 2026 admission) vs 390 Quebec-resident places (AFMC 2027). Value uses 396.
  • pools.qc-first-nations-inuit.seats: UdeM describes the PNIQ agreement as a maximum of 14 places shared among Quebec faculties; AFMC lists 3 places at Montréal, and McGill/AFMC elsewhere describe the shared pool as up to 12.
  • fees (MEM fee): AFMC gives approximately CAD 294 for the joint Laval/Montréal MEM; Laval's MEM page states CAD 297.42 for 2027.
  • pools (out-of-province): UdeM has no category for non-Quebec Canadians other than francophone New Brunswick residents, yet AFMC reports small success rates for 'Autre province/territoire canadien' (2.5% preparatory year, 4.3% MD direct entry in 2024/25). No out-of-province pool is recorded.
  • timeline (first offers): UdeM says first offers in May 2027, date to be announced; AFMC gives May 15, 2027.
