How selection works

The pre-interview score weights GPA and the context score equally; the context score credits Northern Ontario and rural backgrounds, applying through the Indigenous or Francophone streams, and Northern Ontario employment, using an algorithm that is not public. About 350 top-ranked applicants are invited in January to a virtual asynchronous MMI and live panel, and final selection combines the pre-interview score (32%) and interview score (68%) with a full file review by the Admission Selection Committee, when the references are read.
