Degree

A completed 4-year (120 unit) undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, by June 30 of the entry year.

Prerequisites

6 units of Humanities or Social Sciences (minimum 3 units per course)
1 Indigenous content course (minimum 3 units, any level)
GPA option only: 6 units of Life Sciences, including at least one 200-level or higher course

GPA

60-unit adjusted GPA from all prerequisite courses plus remaining units selected from the last 90 units, including at least 30 upper-division units.

MCAT

How selection works

Applicants qualify through one of three academic options (GPA, MCAT, or GPA and MCAT). MMI invitations go out in mid-December, invited applicants then submit five character references, and admission decisions are sent in May.
