Minimum 3.7 (OMSAS 4.0). Minimum 3.70 in EACH of the 2 best undergraduate years. A qualifying year is September–April with at least 5 full or equivalent courses (30 credit hours), at least 3 full courses (18 credit hours) at or above year level (Y1: 1st-year level; Y2: 2nd-year; Y3+: 3rd-year), and no more than 1 full pass/fail course; with more than a full load, the best 5 full courses are used; graduate grades excluded; the year in progress can be considered.

How selection works

Applicants who meet the GPA threshold in each of their two best years and the section-by-section MCAT cutoffs and complete the Western ABS (Kira Talent) are evaluated on academics and non-academic attributes; interview invitations go out in late January/early February, followed by virtual structured 3-person panel interviews in late February/early March, first-round offers in early May and wait-list offers by phone from early June.
