A100 (5-year undergraduate MB BS) open to Home and International applicants. A101 (4-year accelerated/graduate-entry MB BS) is a separate route open to graduates of any discipline with at least a 2:1 Honours degree or integrated Master's, or to practising healthcare professionals with post-registration qualifications and at least 5 years' post-registration patient-contact experience; also open to Home and International fee status.

  • 2:1 Honours degree or integrated Master's, any discipline (A101 graduate route)

How selection works

Three stages: (1) academic screen (pass/fail check against minimum entry requirements), then for A100 Home applicants a combined academic (40 pts) + UCAT (60 pts) score ranks standard vs contextual applicants separately; for all International applicants and all A101 applicants, UCAT score alone ranks for interview; (2) interview - MMI for Home A100/A101, two-person panel for International; (3) offers - final score is Academic-screen score and Interview score weighted 50:50, ranked for offers.
