Multi Mini Interview (9 stations Home/Belfast, 7 stations online International) · Personal statement not scored but reviewed for commitment/motivation evidence · Satisfactory criminal record check (DBS/AccessNI; International applicants also provide a Certificate of Good Conduct) · Work experience not a formal requirement

How selection works

Two-stage process: Stage 1 (Cognitive Ability) combines academic performance (GCSE/A-level/degree, scored by points system) with UCAT score to rank and shortlist for interview; Stage 2 (Non-Cognitive Ability) is a Multi Mini Interview assessing empathy, problem-solving, moral reasoning and communication skills. Final offer decisions are based solely on interview performance/rank order.
