  • accreditation: COCA's own September 2026 PDF directory lists Xavier University COM (established 2027) with no "Accreditation Status:" line at all, while AACOM's separate detail page for the college independently states "Pre-Accreditation". Both sources are noted; the AACOM-stated status is used since it is the only one that states a status.
  • accreditation / applicationRoute: _shared.json's cocaAccreditationLevels entry (quoting an outdated 2014 COCA press release) states colleges holding pre-accreditation "may not recruit, accept applications from or admit prospective students" - in apparent tension with XUCOM's detailed, open AACOMAS admissions cycle (deadlines, fees, EDP) for its 2027 inaugural class. Per _shared.json's own reconciliation note, the quoted restriction in that old release actually described what is now called CANDIDATE status, not pre-accreditation status; under COCA's current (2026) standards, pre-accreditation is precisely the stage at which a COM gains the right to recruit/accept applications/admit students, so XUCOM's active admissions cycle is consistent with the current rules, not a contradiction.
