How to prepare

An MMI is a series of short, timed stations, each with its own interviewer and scenario. The AAMC describes typical MMIs as 6 to 10 stations of about five minutes each, though timing varies by school.5 Practice reading a prompt, deciding your position quickly, and talking through the issue, the people involved, what you’d do and why.
